New York High School Soccer - North Salem knocks off Blind Brook

(September 26, 2008: North Salem, NY 10560) North Salem Tigers (North Salem, NY) fans were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Blind Brook Trojans (Rye Brook, NY), 6-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Tigers battle the Bronxville Broncos (Bronxville, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 2. North Salem will attempt to move on its 5-3 season record. The Broncos go into the challenge with a 10-0 record after their 5-0 league win over Valhalla (Valhalla, NY).

The Trojans now have a 0-5 record. They play next when they travel to Bronxville for a Conference 4 Central League challenge on Saturday, October 4. Blind Brook will battle a Broncos team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over North Salem (North Salem, NY). The Broncos record now stands at 11-0.
