New York High School Basketball - Bronxville nudges Blind Brook

(January 14, 2008: Bronxville, NY 10708) Bronxville Broncos (Bronxville, NY) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the visiting Blind Brook Trojans (Rye Brook, NY), 54-51 in a league bout.

With the win, Bronxville upgrades its record to 6-5 on the season. The Broncos travel to Rye Neck (Mamaroneck, NY) to encounter the Panthers in a Section 1 IV - B bout on Wednesday, January 16. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 5-7. Rye Neck won 58-55 in their recent league bout against Valhalla (Valhalla, NY)

Next up, the Trojans encounter the Clark Academy Knights (Greenburgh, NY) in a Section 1 IV - B bout, on Friday, January 18. Blind Brook will attempt to upgrade on its 8-4 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 6-4 record after their 69-49 league win over Keio (Purchase, NY).
