GAME SUMMARY
New York High School Volleyball - Lakeland over Yorktown

(October 2, 2008: Yorktown Heights, NY 10598) Lakeland Hornets (Shrub Oak, NY) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Yorktown Huskers (Yorktown Heights, NY), 3-1 in a league match.

Next up, the Hornets clash with the Jay Indians (Cross River, NY) in a Section 1 Class A - League B match, on Friday, October 3. Lakeland will attempt to advance on its 10-1 season record.

With the loss, Yorktown drops to 5-4 on the campaign. The Huskers host Somers (Lincolndale, NY) to clash with the Tuskers in a Section 1 Class A - League B match on Friday, October 3. The Tuskers come into the match with a record of 3-6. Somers lost 3-0 in their recent league match against Fox Lane (Bedford, NY)
