(October 14, 2008: Rye, NY 10580) The Croton-Harmon Tigers (Croton on Hudson, NY) volleyball nudged the host Rye Garnets (Rye, NY), 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

With the win, Croton-Harmon betters its record to 9-3 on the year. The Tigers host Kennedy Catholic (Somers, NY) to face the Gaels in a Section 1 Class B - League A outing on Wednesday, October 15. The Gaels go into the outing with a record of 3-5. Kennedy Catholic lost 3-1 in their recent league outing against Putnam Valley (Putnam Valley, NY)

The Garnets now sport a 7-6 record. They play next when they host Eastchester for a Section 1 Class B - League B outing on Wednesday, October 15. Rye will face a Eagles squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Woodlands (Hartsdale, NY). The Eagles record now stands at 5-7.
