New York High School Basketball - Briarcliff fells Kennedy Catholic

(January 8, 2008: Briarcliff Manor, NY 10510) The Briarcliff Bears basketball squad scored 52 points and restricted the visiting Kennedy Catholic Gaels to 40 in the Bears league victory on Tuesday.

The Bears (11-1) will now prepare for their bout against Pleasantville (Pleasantville, NY). The Panthers come into the Section 1 III - A bout with a 1-9 record. In their last bout, Pleasantville was dropped by Valhalla (Valhalla, NY), 45-34, in a non-league bout.

The Gaels (4-6) will now prepare for their test against Westlake (Thornwood, NY). The Wildcats go into the Section 1 III - A test with a 4-6 record. In their last test, Westlake went down by Putnam Valley (Putnam Valley, NY), 49-11, in a league test.
