New York High School Football - Jay defeats Scarsdale

(October 4, 2008: Hopewell Junction, NY 12533) In Saturday's league match, the host Jay Patriots football squad scored a good 36-12 victory over the Scarsdale Raiders.

In their next game, the Patriots clash with the Mahopac Indians (Mahopac, NY) in a Section 1 AA - North match, on Friday, October 10. Jay will attempt to move on its 5-0 season record. The Indians enter the match with a 5-0 record after their 35-28 league win over Ketcham (Wappingers Falls, NY).

The Raiders (0-5) will now prepare for their match against Carmel (Carmel, NY). The Rams enter the Section 1 AA - North match with a 3-2 record. In their last match, Carmel dropped by North Rockland (Thiells, NY), 22-21, in a non-league match.
