New York High School Basketball - Peekskill over Panas

(January 31, 2008: Peekskill, NY 10566) Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Peekskill Red Devils (Peekskill, NY) and the visiting Panas Panthers (Cortlandt Manor, NY), saw Peekskill's basketball squad knock off Panas by a score of 54-41.

With the victory, Peekskill improves its record to 7-9 on the campaign. The Red Devils host Mahopac (Mahopac, NY) to play the Indians in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 1. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 9-6. Mahopac lost 64-43 in their recent league challenge against Arlington (LaGrangeville, NY)

Next up, the Panthers play the Harrison Huskies (Harrison, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 1. Panas will attempt to improve on its 3-12 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 5-12 record after their 60-33 league loss to Tappan Zee (Orangeburg, NY).
