New York High School Basketball - Peekskill winner over Hudson

(February 6, 2008: Montrose, NY 10548) The Peekskill Red Devils (Peekskill, NY) basketball knocked off the host Hudson Sailors (Montrose, NY), 53-42 in Wednesday's league test.

The Red Devils (8-9) will now prepare for their test against Tappan Zee (Orangeburg, NY). The Dutchmen go into the non-league test with a 13-5 record. In their last test, Tappan Zee went down by Nyack (Upper Nyack, NY), 52-49, in a league test.

The Sailors now own a 4-15 record. They take the field next when they travel to Panas for a Section 1 II - North test on Friday, February 8. Hudson will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 55-29 non-league win over Fox Lane (Bedford, NY). The Panthers record now stands at 4-14.
