New York High School Basketball - Our Lady of Lourdes nips Carmel

(January 25, 2008: Poughkeepsie, NY 12603) Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Our Lady of Lourdes Warriors (Poughkeepsie, NY) and the visiting Carmel Rams (Carmel, NY), saw Our Lady of Lourdes's basketball squad hold off Carmel by a score of 55-51.

With the victory, Our Lady of Lourdes improves its record to 6-7 on the campaign. The Warriors host Ketcham (Wappingers Falls, NY) to battle the Indians in a Section 1 I - C challenge on Tuesday, January 29. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 6-8. Ketcham lost 50-43 in their recent league challenge against Arlington (LaGrangeville, NY)

Next up, the Rams battle the Jay Patriots (Hopewell Junction, NY) in a Section 1 I - C challenge, on Tuesday, January 29. Carmel will attempt to improve on its 6-9 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 7-4 record after their 56-52 non-league win over North Rockland (Thiells, NY).
