New York High School Basketball - Hawthorne Cedar Knolls edges Clark Academy

(December 15, 2007: Greenburgh, NY ) The Hawthorne Cedar Knolls (Hawthorne, NY) basketball nipped the host Clark Academy Knights (Greenburgh, NY), 58-56 in Saturday's non-league test.

The (2-5) will now prepare for their test against Hamilton (Elmsford, NY). The Raiders go into the non-league test with a 1-3 record. In their last test, Hamilton was tipped by Valhalla (Valhalla, NY), 60-44, in a non-league test.

The Knights now own a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Valhalla for a Section 1 IV - B test on Tuesday, December 18. Clark Academy will clash with a Vikings squad coming off a 69-61 non-league loss to Edgemont (Scarsdale, NY). The Vikings record now stands at 3-4.
