(February 6, 2008: Scarsdale, NY 10583) Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Mt. Vernon Knights (Mt. Vernon, NY) and the host Scarsdale Raiders (Scarsdale, NY), saw Mt. Vernon's basketball squad knock off Scarsdale by a score of 54-45.

With the victory, Mt. Vernon improves its record to 18-1 on the campaign. The Knights host Mamaroneck (Mamaroneck, NY) to play the Tigers in a Section 1 I - A challenge on Friday, February 8. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 8-11. Mamaroneck lost 34-31 in their recent league challenge against New Rochelle (New Rochelle, NY)

Next up, the Raiders play the Ursuline Koalas (New Rochelle, NY) in a Section 1 I - A challenge, on Friday, February 8. Scarsdale will attempt to improve on its 10-8 season record. The Koalas come into the challenge with a 14-5 record after their 46-39 league win over White Plains (White Plains, NY).
