New York High School Football - Ramapo knocked off by Jay

(September 12, 2008: Spring Valley, NY 10977) Jay Patriots (Hopewell Junction, NY) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Ramapo Gryphons (Spring Valley, NY), 28-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Jay improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Arlington (LaGrangeville, NY) to confront the Admirals in a Section 1 AA - North test on Saturday, September 20. The Admirals come into the test with a record of 1-1. Arlington lost 30-6 in their recent league test against Carmel (Carmel, NY)

With the loss, Ramapo drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Gryphons travel to Suffern (Suffern, NY) to confront the Mounties in a Section 1 AA - West test on Friday, September 19. The Mounties come into the test with a record of 1-1. Suffern won 25-22 in their recent non-league test against Lincoln (Yonkers, NY)
