New York High School Basketball - Dover can't hold off Haldane

(January 28, 2008: Cold Spring, NY 10516) The Haldane Blue Devils basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the visiting Dover Dragons to 54 in the Blue Devils league victory on Monday.

The Blue Devils now sport a 15-1 record. They play next when they travel to North Salem for a Section 1 IV - C contest on Wednesday, January 30. Haldane will meet a Tigers team coming off a 42-23 non-league win over Rye Neck (Mamaroneck, NY). The Tigers record now stands at 12-2.

The Dragons (7-7) will now prepare for their contest against Webutuck (Amenia, NY). The Warriors come into the non-league contest with a 1-8 record. In their last contest, Webutuck was nudged by Marlboro Central (Marlboro, NY), 52-30, in a non-league contest.
