GAME SUMMARY

New York High School Volleyball - Tappan Zee over Magnus

(October 11, 2008: Bardonia, NY 10954) Tappan Zee Dutchmen (Orangeburg, NY) supporters left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Magnus Falcons (Bardonia, NY), 3-1 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Dutchmen clash with the Port Chester Rams (Port Chester, NY) in a Section 1 Class A - League C match, on Tuesday, October 14. Tappan Zee will attempt to advance on its 8-4 season record. The Rams come into the match with a 0-9 record after their 3-1 league loss to Yonkers (Yonkers, NY).

With the loss, Magnus drops to 8-6 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Ramapo (Spring Valley, NY) to clash with the Gryphons in a non-league match on Monday, October 13. The Gryphons come into the game with a record of 4-10. Ramapo lost 3-0 in their recent non-league game against Pearl River (Pearl River, NY)
