New York High School Basketball - Clark Academy nipped by Blind Brook

(January 17, 2008: Greenburgh, NY ) In Thursday's league match, the visiting Blind Brook Trojans basketball team scored a tight 57-50 triumph over the Clark Academy Knights.

In their next game, the Trojans face the Rye Neck Panthers (Mamaroneck, NY) in a Section 1 IV - B match, on Friday, January 18. Blind Brook will attempt to move on its 9-4 season record. The Panthers enter the match with a 5-8 record after their 61-35 league loss to Bronxville (Bronxville, NY).

With the defeat, Clark Academy moves to 6-5 on the year. The Knights host Leake-Watts (Yonkers, NY) to face the Lions in a non-league match on Friday, January 18. The Lions enter the match with a record of 6-4. Leake-Watts lost 55-49 in their recent league match against Tuckahoe (Eastchester, NY)
