(January 8, 2008: Valhalla, NY 10595) The Valhalla Vikings felled the visiting Pleasantville Panthers basketball squad by a margin of 45-34 in Tuesday's non-league test.

Next, the Vikings clash with the Blind Brook Trojans (Rye Brook, NY) in a Section 1 IV - B test, on Thursday, January 10. Valhalla will attempt to advance on its 4-6 season record. The Trojans go into the test with a 8-2 record after their 55-19 league win over Keio (Purchase, NY).

The Panthers now own a 1-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Briarcliff for a Section 1 III - A test on Thursday, January 10. Pleasantville will clash with a Bears squad coming off a 52-40 league win over Kennedy Catholic (Somers, NY). The Bears record now stands at 11-1.
