New York High School Basketball - Haldane topples Dover

(January 4, 2008: Dover Plains, NY 12522) In Friday's league outing, the visiting Haldane Blue Devils basketball squad scored a nice 71-53 win over the Dover Dragons.

Next, the Blue Devils encounter the North Salem Tigers (North Salem, NY) in a Section 1 IV - C outing, on Tuesday, January 8. Haldane will attempt to advance on its 8-0 season record. The Tigers go into the outing with a 5-0 record after their 41-20 non-league win over Rye Neck (Mamaroneck, NY).

The Dragons now own a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Schechter for a non-league outing on Monday, January 7. Dover will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 47-16 non-league loss to Westlake (Thornwood, NY). The Lions record now stands at 4-3.
