GAME SUMMARY

New York High School Football - Beacon drops to Jay

(October 11, 2008: Beacon, NY 12508) In Saturday's league game, the Jay Indians (Cross River, NY) football team knocked off the host Beacon Bulldogs (Beacon, NY), by a score of 48-28.

The Indians (3-3) will now prepare for their game against Spring Valley (Spring Valley, NY). The Tigers come into the non-league game with a 2-4 record. In their last game, Spring Valley was knocked off by Nyack (Upper Nyack, NY), 47-6, in a league game.

The Bulldogs now sport a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Greeley for a Section 1 A - North game on Saturday, October 18. Beacon will battle a Quakers team coming off a 34-14 league loss to Brewster (Brewster, NY). The Quakers record now stands at 2-4.
