New York High School Basketball - Spring Valley tipped by Tappan Zee

(January 25, 2008: Orangeburg, NY 10962) The Tappan Zee Dutchmen basketball team scored 67 points and held the visiting Spring Valley Tigers to 63 in the Dutchmen league triumph on Friday.

The Dutchmen now sport a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clarkstown North for a non-league contest on Monday, January 28. Tappan Zee will confront a Rams team coming off a 51-49 league loss to North Rockland (Thiells, NY). The Rams record now stands at 2-12.

The Tigers (8-7) will now prepare for their contest against Port Chester (Port Chester, NY). The Rams enter the Section 1 II - South contest with a 10-5 record. In their last contest, Port Chester nudged Tappan Zee (Orangeburg, NY), 77-52, in a league contest.
