New York High School Football - Westlake can't hold off Croton-Harmon

(September 30, 2006: Croton on Hudson, NY 10520) Croton-Harmon Tigers (Croton on Hudson, NY) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Saturday as they observed their football squad get by the visiting Westlake Wildcats (Thornwood, NY), 28-22 in a league challenge.

The Tigers now sport a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lincoln Hall for a Section 1 C - League A challenge on Saturday, October 7. Croton-Harmon will clash with a squad coming off a 19-13 league win over Magnus (Bardonia, NY). The record now stands at 1-3.

With the defeat, Westlake moves to 3-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Bronxville (Bronxville, NY) to clash with the Broncos in a Section 1 C - League A challenge on Saturday, October 7. The Broncos go into the challenge with a record of 2-2. Bronxville lost 16-6 in their recent league challenge against Haldane (Cold Spring, NY)
