GAME SUMMARY

New York High School Football - Dover succumbs to Irvington

(September 30, 2006: Irvington, NY 10533) Irvington Bulldogs (Irvington, NY) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Saturday as they observed their football squad thwart the visiting Dover Dragons (Dover Plains, NY), 32-7 in a league challenge.

The Bulldogs now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Woodlands for a Section 1 B-3 challenge on Saturday, October 7. Irvington will clash with a Falcons squad coming off a 28-14 league loss to Putnam Valley (Putnam Valley, NY). The Falcons record now stands at 0-4.

With the defeat, Dover moves to 0-4 on the campaign. The Dragons host Hastings (Hastings on Hudson, NY) to clash with the Yellow Jackets in a Section 1 B-3 challenge on Saturday, October 7. The Yellow Jackets go into the challenge with a record of 3-1. Hastings lost 41-18 in their recent league challenge against Edgemont (Scarsdale, NY)
