Hawaii High School Basketball - Mt. Vernon overwhelms Roosevelt

(December 18, 2007: Honolulu, HI 96822) Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Mt. Vernon Knights (Mt. Vernon, NY) and the host Roosevelt Rough Riders (Honolulu, HI), saw Mt. Vernon's basketball squad trounce Roosevelt by a score of 96-25.

The Knights now possess a 4-0 record. They play next when they travel to Mason County for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 20. Mt. Vernon will meet a Royals team coming off a 68-54 non-league win over Christ Presbyterian Academy (Nashville, TN). The Royals record now stands at 5-0.

The Rough Riders (0-5) will now prepare for their battle against Kahuku (Kahuku, HI). The Red Raiders come into the Oahu I battle with a 0-0 record.
