New York High School Volleyball - Somers routed by Jay

(October 6, 2008: Lincolndale, NY 10540) The Somers Tuskers volleyball team (Lincolndale, NY), was dropped 3-0 in Monday's league challenge with the visiting Jay Indians (Cross River, NY)

The Indians (6-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Fox Lane (Bedford, NY). The Foxes enter the Section 1 Class A - League B challenge with a 9-2 record. In their last challenge, Fox Lane defeated Yorktown (Yorktown Heights, NY), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Tuskers meet the Brewster Bears (Brewster, NY) in a Section 1 Class A - League B challenge, on Friday, October 10. Somers will attempt to move on its 3-8 season record. The Bears enter the challenge with a 5-6 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Beacon (Beacon, NY).
