(January 8, 2008: Rye, NY 10580) The Eastchester Eagles basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the host Rye Garnets to 55 in the Eagles league victory on Tuesday.

The Eagles now sport a 7-3 record. They play next when they travel to Woodlands for a Section 1 III - B contest on Thursday, January 10. Eastchester will meet a Falcons team coming off a 64-49 league loss to Ardsley (Ardsley, NY). The Falcons record now stands at 0-6.

The Garnets (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Yonkers (Yonkers, NY). The Bulldogs come into the Section 1 III - B contest with a 5-6 record. In their last contest, Yonkers beat Edgemont (Scarsdale, NY), 59-49, in a league contest.
