New York High School Basketball - Nanuet ripped by Magnus

(January 20, 2008: Nanuet, NY 10954) The Magnus Falcons basketball team scored 67 points and held the host Nanuet Golden Knights to 40 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Sunday.

The Falcons now sport a 12-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Blind Brook for a non-league contest on Friday, January 25. Magnus will meet a Trojans team coming off a 45-19 league win over Rye Neck (Mamaroneck, NY). The Trojans record now stands at 10-4.

The Golden Knights (12-2) will now prepare for their contest against Magnus (Bardonia, NY). The Falcons enter the Section 1 III - C contest with a 13-1 record. In their last contest, Magnus trounced Blind Brook (Rye Brook, NY), 46-24, in a non-league contest.
