New York High School Basketball - Greeley prevails Beacon

(December 10, 2007: Chappaqua, NY 10514) Greeley Quakers (Chappaqua, NY) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Beacon Bulldogs (Beacon, NY), 46-34 in a non-league bout.

The Quakers now hold a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Somers for a Section 1 II - Central bout on Wednesday, December 12. Greeley will encounter a Tuskers squad coming off a 54-49 non-league win over Hudson (Montrose, NY). The Tuskers record now stands at 1-2.

Next up, the Bulldogs encounter the Nyack Indians (Upper Nyack, NY) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 12. Beacon will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 3-0 record after their 53-47 non-league win over Panas (Cortlandt Manor, NY).
