New York High School Basketball - Suffern falls to Clarkstown South

(February 6, 2008: West Nyack, NY 10994) The Clarkstown South Vikings basketball team scored 69 points and held the visiting Suffern Mounties to 55 in the Vikings league triumph on Wednesday.

The Vikings now sport a 11-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Arlington for a non-league contest on Friday, February 15. Clarkstown South will confront a Admirals team coming off a 65-62 non-league loss to Mahopac (Mahopac, NY). The Admirals record now stands at 14-6.

The Mounties (11-8) will now prepare for their contest against Ramapo (Spring Valley, NY). The Gryphons enter the Section 1 I - B contest with a 6-13 record. In their last contest, Ramapo was defeated by Clarkstown North (New City, NY), 67-59, in a league contest.
