(December 14, 2007: Hastings on Hudson, NY 10706) Hastings Yellow Jackets (Hastings on Hudson, NY) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Valhalla Vikings (Valhalla, NY), 65-63 in a non-league bout.

The Yellow Jackets now hold a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Blind Brook for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 15. Hastings will play a Trojans squad coming off a 59-40 non-league win over Hamilton (Elmsford, NY). The Trojans record now stands at 4-1.

Next up, the Vikings play the Hamilton Raiders (Elmsford, NY) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 15. Valhalla will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Raiders come into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 59-40 non-league loss to Blind Brook (Rye Brook, NY).
