(September 27, 2008: Rye, NY 10580) The Rye Garnets football squad scored 28 points and limited the visiting Harrison Huskies to 3 in the Garnets non-league win on Saturday.

The Garnets now possess a 4-0 record. They play next when they travel to Irvington for a Section 1 B-1 battle on Saturday, October 4. Rye will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 14-6 non-league win over Briarcliff (Briarcliff Manor, NY). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-3.

Coming up next, the Huskies play the Eastchester Eagles (Eastchester, NY) in a Section 1 A - South battle, on Saturday, October 4. Harrison will attempt to advance on its 2-2 season record. The Eagles go into the battle with a 3-1 record after their 28-6 non-league loss to Somers (Lincolndale, NY).
