New York High School Basketball - Panas topples Hudson

(February 8, 2008: Montrose, NY 10548) In Friday's league outing, the Panas Panthers (Cortlandt Manor, NY) basketball squad beat the host Hudson Sailors (Montrose, NY), by a count of 60-43.

The Panthers (11-9) will now prepare for their outing against Lakeland (Shrub Oak, NY). The Hornets go into the non-league outing with a 14-6 record. In their last outing, Lakeland gained a win over Greeley (Chappaqua, NY), 67-50, in a league outing.

The Sailors now hold a 7-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Croton-Harmon for a non-league outing on Saturday, February 9. Hudson will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 46-32 league win over Putnam Valley (Putnam Valley, NY). The Tigers record now stands at 9-9.
