New York High School Volleyball - Byram Hills over Edgemont

(September 25, 2008: Armonk, NY 10504) The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Byram Hills Bobcats (Armonk, NY) and the visiting Edgemont Panthers (Scarsdale, NY), saw Byram Hills's volleyball squad beat Edgemont by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Byram Hills upgrades its record to 6-1 on the year. The Bobcats host Ardsley (Ardsley, NY) to play the Panthers in a Section 1 Class B - League B bout on Friday, September 26. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 8-1. Ardsley won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Rye (Rye, NY)

The Panthers now own a 4-3 record. They play next when they host Eastchester for a Section 1 Class B - League B bout on Friday, September 26. Edgemont will play a Eagles squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Pelham Memorial (Pelham, NY). The Eagles record now stands at 4-5.
