New York High School Basketball - Haldane overwhelms Tuckahoe

(January 25, 2008: Eastchester, NY 10709) Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Haldane Blue Devils (Cold Spring, NY) and the host Tuckahoe Tigers (Eastchester, NY), saw Haldane's basketball squad trounce Tuckahoe by a count of 55-21.

With the victory, Haldane upgrades its record to 14-1 on the campaign. The Blue Devils host Dover (Dover Plains, NY) to play the Dragons in a Section 1 IV - C challenge on Monday, January 28. The Dragons come into the challenge with a record of 7-6. Dover lost 66-62 in their recent non-league test against Brewster (Brewster, NY)

The Tigers now own a 8-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Dobbs Ferry for a Section 1 IV - A test on Tuesday, January 29. Tuckahoe will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 47-15 league win over Leake-Watts (Yonkers, NY). The Eagles record now stands at 9-7.
