New York High School Basketball - Bronxville falls to Eastchester

(January 12, 2008: Eastchester, NY 10709) The Eastchester Eagles basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Bronxville Broncos to 41 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Eagles now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ardsley for a Section 1 III - B contest on Monday, January 14. Eastchester will confront a Panthers team coming off a 66-56 league loss to Pelham Memorial (Pelham, NY). The Panthers record now stands at 5-4.

The Broncos (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against Blind Brook (Rye Brook, NY). The Trojans enter the Section 1 IV - B contest with a 8-3 record. In their last bout, Blind Brook was dropped by North Salem (North Salem, NY), 67-46, in a non-league bout.
