New York High School Football - Yorktown defeats Fox Lane

(September 7, 2008: Bedford, NY 10506) In Sunday's non-league match, the visiting Yorktown Huskers football squad scored a good 15-7 victory over the Fox Lane Foxes.

In their next game, the Huskers clash with the Somers Tuskers (Lincolndale, NY) in a Section 1 A - Central match, on Friday, September 12. Yorktown will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Tuskers enter the match with a 1-0 record after their 38-3 non-league win over Harrison (Harrison, NY).

The Foxes (0-1) will now prepare for their match against Port Chester (Port Chester, NY). The Rams enter the Section 1 A - South match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Port Chester dropped by Brewster (Brewster, NY), 34-6, in a non-league match.
