New York High School Volleyball - Poughkeepsie overwhelmed by Hudson

(October 15, 2008: Poughkeepsie, NY 12603) In Wednesday's league battle, the visiting Hudson Sailors volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Poughkeepsie Pioneers.

The Sailors (15-0) will now prepare for their battle against Beacon (Beacon, NY). The Bulldogs come into the Section 1 Class A - League A battle with a 9-5 record. In their last battle, Beacon defeated Ossining (Ossining, NY), 3-1, in a league battle.

Next, the Pioneers encounter the Peekskill Red Devils (Peekskill, NY) in a Section 1 Class A - League A battle, on Thursday, October 16. Poughkeepsie will attempt to move on its 1-14 season record. The Red Devils come into the battle with a 0-10 record after their 3-0 league loss to Hudson (Montrose, NY).
