New York High School Volleyball - Westlake over Kennedy Catholic

(October 3, 2008: Somers, NY 10589) Westlake Wildcats (Thornwood, NY) supporters left the game in high spirits Friday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Kennedy Catholic Gaels (Somers, NY), 3-0 in a league match.

Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Croton-Harmon Tigers (Croton on Hudson, NY) in a Section 1 Class B - League A match, on Tuesday, October 7. Westlake will attempt to advance on its 9-3 season record. The Tigers come into the match with a 8-2 record after their 3-0 league win over Briarcliff (Briarcliff Manor, NY).

With the loss, Kennedy Catholic drops to 3-4 on the campaign. The Gaels travel to Putnam Valley (Putnam Valley, NY) to clash with the Tigers in a Section 1 Class B - League A match on Tuesday, October 7. The Tigers come into the match with a record of 4-5.
