New York High School Basketball - Yonkers nipped by Edgemont

(January 30, 2008: Scarsdale, NY 10583) In Wednesday's league match, the host Edgemont Panthers basketball team scored a tight 50-46 triumph over the Yonkers Bulldogs.

In their next game, the Panthers face the Pelham Memorial Pelicans (Pelham, NY) in a Section 1 III - B match, on Friday, February 1. Edgemont will attempt to move on its 5-11 season record. The Pelicans enter the match with a 9-8 record after their 42-41 league win over Ardsley (Ardsley, NY).
