GAME SUMMARY

New York High School Volleyball - Croton-Harmon over Briarcliff

(October 3, 2008: Briarcliff Manor, NY 10510) Croton-Harmon Tigers (Croton on Hudson, NY) supporters left the game in high spirits Friday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Briarcliff Bears (Briarcliff Manor, NY), 3-0 in a league match.

Next up, the Tigers clash with the Westlake Wildcats (Thornwood, NY) in a Section 1 Class B - League A match, on Tuesday, October 7. Croton-Harmon will attempt to advance on its 8-2 season record. The Wildcats come into the match with a 9-3 record after their 3-0 league win over Kennedy Catholic (Somers, NY).

With the loss, Briarcliff drops to 3-6 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Sleepy Hollow (Sleepy Hollow, NY) to clash with the Horsemen in a non-league match on Monday, October 6. The Horsemen come into the match with a record of 4-5. Sleepy Hollow won 3-1 in their recent league match against Pearl River (Pearl River, NY)
