New York High School Basketball - Nanuet can't hold off Magnus

(January 19, 2008: Nanuet, NY 10954) The Magnus Falcons basketball team scored 65 points and restricted the host Nanuet Golden Knights to 62 in the Falcons non-league victory on Saturday.

The Falcons now sport a 7-6 record. They play next when they travel to Tappan Zee for a non-league contest on Sunday, January 20. Magnus will meet a Dutchmen team coming off a 65-63 non-league win over Pearl River (Pearl River, NY). The Dutchmen record now stands at 8-4.

The Golden Knights (7-7) will now prepare for their contest against Pearl River (Pearl River, NY). The Pirates come into the non-league contest with a 11-2 record. In their last contest, Pearl River was nudged by Tappan Zee (Orangeburg, NY), 65-63, in a non-league contest.
