New York High School Basketball - Blind Brook fells Rye Neck

(December 21, 2007: Rye Brook, NY 10573) Blind Brook Trojans (Rye Brook, NY) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad overcome the visiting Rye Neck Panthers (Mamaroneck, NY), 51-41 in a league bout.

With the victory, Blind Brook upgrades its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Dover (Dover Plains, NY) to play the Dragons in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 3. The Dragons come into the bout with a record of 1-6. Dover lost 70-47 in their recent non-league bout against Webutuck (Amenia, NY)

Next up, the Panthers play the Keio Unicorns (Purchase, NY) in a Section 1 IV - B bout, on Friday, January 4. Rye Neck will attempt to advance on its 3-4 season record. The Unicorns go into the test with a 5-1 record after their 56-39 league win over Rye Neck (Mamaroneck, NY).
