New York High School Football - Lincoln tipped by Beacon

(September 30, 2006: Beacon, NY 12508) The Beacon Bulldogs football squad scored 36 points and limited the visiting Lincoln Lancers to 32 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Saturday.

With the victory, Beacon advances its record to 2-2 on the year. The Bulldogs host Brewster (Brewster, NY) to play the Bears in a Section 1 A - League A battle on Saturday, October 7. The Bears come into the battle with a record of 1-3. Brewster lost 40-7 in their recent league battle against Fox Lane (Bedford, NY)

Next, the Lancers play the Gorton Wolves (Yonkers, NY) in a Section 1 AA - South battle, on Saturday, October 7. Lincoln will attempt to advance on its 0-4 season record. The Wolves come into the battle with a 4-0 record after their 28-22 league win over Roosevelt (Yonkers, NY).
