New York High School Volleyball - Croton-Harmon routed by Westlake

(September 17, 2008: Croton on Hudson, NY 10520) The Westlake Wildcats volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Croton-Harmon Tigers to 0 in the Wildcats league win on Wednesday.

With the win, Westlake upgrades its record to 5-1 on the year. The Wildcats host Valhalla (Valhalla, NY) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 20. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 1-4. Valhalla lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Schechter (Hartsdale, NY)

The Tigers now own a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Kennedy Catholic for a Section 1 Class B - League A bout on Friday, September 19. Croton-Harmon will play a Gaels squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Sleepy Hollow (Sleepy Hollow, NY). The Gaels record now stands at 2-1.
