New York High School Volleyball - Rye Neck over Blind Brook

(October 7, 2008: Rye Brook, NY 10573) In Tuesday's league contest, the Rye Neck Panthers (Mamaroneck, NY) volleyball squad were winner over the host Blind Brook Trojans (Rye Brook, NY), by a margin of 3-1.

Next up, the Panthers battle the Haldane Blue Devils (Cold Spring, NY) in a non-league contest, on Friday, October 10. Rye Neck will attempt to better on its 9-3 season record. The Blue Devils go into the contest with a 11-3 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Hamilton (Elmsford, NY).

With the loss, Blind Brook moves to 3-7 on the year. The Trojans host Valhalla (Valhalla, NY) to battle the Vikings in a Section 1 Class C/D - Central contest on Saturday, October 11. The Vikings go into the contest with a record of 1-13. Valhalla lost 3-0 in their recent league contest against Keio (Purchase, NY)
