New York High School Basketball - Edgemont overwhelmed by Eastchester

(January 26, 2008: Scarsdale, NY 10583) The Edgemont Panthers basketball team (Scarsdale, NY), was overwhelmed 55-32 in Saturday's league battle with the visiting Eastchester Eagles (Eastchester, NY)

The Eagles now possess a 12-4 record. They play next when they travel to Pelham Memorial for a Section 1 III - B battle on Monday, January 28. Eastchester will battle a Pelicans team coming off a 43-39 league win over Woodlands (Hartsdale, NY). The Pelicans record now stands at 8-7.

The Panthers (4-10) will now prepare for their battle against Rye (Rye, NY). The Garnets come into the Section 1 III - B battle with a 7-6 record. In their last battle, Rye triumphed over Harrison (Harrison, NY), 58-44, in a non-league battle.
