New York High School Volleyball - Pleasantville Kennedy Catholic

(October 21, 2008: Somers, NY 10589) In Tuesday's league battle, the host Kennedy Catholic Gaels volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Pleasantville Panthers.

The Gaels (4-7) will now prepare for their battle against Westlake (Thornwood, NY). The Wildcats come into the Section 1 Class B - League A battle with a 15-4 record. In their last battle, Westlake achieved victory over Briarcliff (Briarcliff Manor, NY), 3-1, in a league battle.

Next, the Panthers clash with the Putnam Valley Tigers (Putnam Valley, NY) in a Section 1 Class B - League A battle, on Thursday, October 23. Pleasantville will attempt to advance on its 4-12 season record. The Tigers come into the battle with a 6-9 record after their 3-0 league loss to Croton-Harmon (Croton on Hudson, NY).
