New York High School Basketball - Carmel edges North Rockland

(December 18, 2007: Thiells, NY 10984) The Carmel Rams (Carmel, NY) basketball nipped the host North Rockland Raiders (Thiells, NY), 57-52 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Rams (2-2) will now prepare for their test against Clarkstown North (New City, NY). The Rams go into the non-league test with a 1-3 record. In their last test, Clarkstown North got by Yonkers (Yonkers, NY), 61-31, in a non-league test.

The Raiders now own a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Scarsdale for a non-league test on Thursday, December 20. North Rockland will clash with a Raiders squad coming off a 44-21 non-league win over Saunders Trades & Tech (Yonkers, NY). The Raiders record now stands at 2-2.
