New York High School Volleyball - Clarkstown South over Clarkstown North

(October 17, 2008: New City, NY 10956) In Friday's league contest, the Clarkstown South Vikings (West Nyack, NY) volleyball squad were winner over the host Clarkstown North Rams (New City, NY), by a margin of 3-1.

Next up, the Vikings battle the North Rockland Raiders (Thiells, NY) in a Section 1 Class AA - League B contest, on Monday, October 20. Clarkstown South will attempt to better on its 9-8 season record. The Raiders go into the contest with a 15-3 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Ketcham (Wappingers Falls, NY).

With the loss, Clarkstown North moves to 6-8 on the year. The Rams travel to Scarsdale (Scarsdale, NY) to battle the Raiders in a non-league contest on Wednesday, October 22. The Raiders go into the contest with a record of 10-6.
