New York High School Volleyball - Fox Lane over Mahopac

(October 18, 2008: Bedford, NY 10506) The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Fox Lane Foxes (Bedford, NY) and the visiting Mahopac Indians (Mahopac, NY), saw Fox Lane's volleyball squad beat Mahopac by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Fox Lane upgrades its record to 17-4 on the year. The Foxes host Edgemont (Scarsdale, NY) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Saturday, October 18. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 6-6. Edgemont lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Pelham Memorial (Pelham, NY)

The Indians now own a 14-6 record. They play next when they travel to Ketcham for a Section 1 Class AA - League C bout on Monday, October 20. Mahopac will play a Indians squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to North Rockland (Thiells, NY). The Indians record now stands at 10-5.
