New York High School Basketball - Jay thwarts Dover

(December 19, 2007: Dover Plains, NY 12522) The Jay Patriots (Hopewell Junction, NY) basketball felled the host Dover Dragons (Dover Plains, NY), 58-42 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Patriots (2-2) will now prepare for their test against Ursuline (New Rochelle, NY). The Koalas go into the non-league test with a 3-1 record. In their last test, Ursuline went down by Archbishop Molloy (Queens, NY), 80-43, in a non-league test.

The Dragons now own a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Millbrook for a non-league test on Wednesday, December 26. Dover will clash with a Blazers squad coming off a 45-25 non-league loss to Highland (Highland, NY). The Blazers record now stands at 3-1.
