New York High School Basketball - Irvington routs Valhalla

(January 29, 2008: Irvington, NY 10533) In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Irvington Bulldogs (Irvington, NY) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Valhalla Vikings (Valhalla, NY), by a margin of 61-33.

The Bulldogs (13-3) will now prepare for their outing against Sleepy Hollow (Sleepy Hollow, NY). The Horsemen go into the Section 1 III - C outing with a 5-11 record. In their last outing, Sleepy Hollow smashed Yonkers (Yonkers, NY), 58-50, in a non-league outing.

The Vikings now own a 9-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Blind Brook for a Section 1 IV - B outing on Friday, February 1. Valhalla will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 74-15 league win over Keio (Purchase, NY). The Trojans record now stands at 11-5.
